Inreach & Outreach


Inreach services are mainly provided onsite at each CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility). Outreach services are mainly provided out in the community. Community Support staff provide daily support services and structure to male and female offenders on conditional releases from federal and provincial institutions. Some examples of daily support services would include:

  • Establishing a balanced lifestyle
  • Developing healthy relationships
  • Resolving issues relating to addictions
  • Assistance in obtaining identification and BC medical card
  • Grocery shopping and nutrition
  • Budgeting
  • Searching for employment
  • Upgrading your education
  • Housekeeping skills
  • Making appointments
  • Developing family and community supports
  • Becoming independent
  • Addressing physical health and mental health concerns
  • Developing healthy coping strategies
