IMPS (Intensive Management Program Services) is an exclusive program for federally supervised offenders on conditional releases such as Day Parole, Full Parole, Statutory Release or Long Term Supervisory Order.
IMPS is a community solution to address the range of multiple barriers and challenges of the special needs offender. Our support services are offender driven and tailored to each individual on parole. The range and extent of the interaction between the IMPS Coordinator and the offender is based on his/her level of support required, the correctional plan and direction from the Parole Officer. IMPS participants have daily contact with the IMPS Coordinator during their first thirty days following release to the community. IMPS will assist offenders through a supportive approach to complete a gradual and successful re-integration into our community. Primary components of the program include Outreach services to offenders in their homes, life skills, crisis intervention as required, group socialization, recreation, establishing a network of appropriate community resources, connecting to family, facilitating personal support and functioning as a multi-disciplinary team.
