Funding

Please refer to our Annual Reports for our audited financial statements. We are funded by Correctional Service of Canada, Interior Health Authority and BC Corrections, Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission, Community Living BC (CLBC) and BC Housing.

The John Howard Society of the Thompson Region received a grant valued at $450,000.00 from the Greater Vancouver Community Assistance Foundation for the Agency’s Skyview Ridge townhouse complex which will be built in 2014.

As a Registered Charitable Society, our activities depend on public involvement. A voluntary Board of Directors governs the Society and volunteers are extensively involved in our work. You have an opportunity to donate, either through time or financial contribution, to make your community safer by helping us help those who are at risk of offending or re-offending.

Thank you for donating and living our mission and core values – your actions and thoughts make a huge difference in the lives of many.

A tax receipt is issued for any donation over $25.00 made to The John Howard Society of the Thompson Region.
