Our Reintegration program provides pre-release supports and services to individuals in federal correctional institutions and families of incarcerated individuals.
Working in collaboration with institution staff, our Reintegration worker assists with pre-release planning, develops direct working relationships with a wider audience, and enhances the agency’s capacity to provide wraparound services though the various programs offered by the JHSLM. The Reintegration program strives to bridge the gap that exists between individual’s needs and being able to access services prior to release to meet those needs once released to their respective community.
Reintegration workers provide knowledge in regards to rights and responsibilities, assist with establishing community supports, and work to reduce the number of barriers prior to release.
