John Howard Society of Okanagan & Kootenay Back to Provincial Site

Access to safe, affordable, and accessible housing is a cornerstone of healthy communities. Our housing and program continuum seeks to address homelessness and reduces barriers to independent living so all community members can reach their full potential.

Our range of housing services prevents and reduces homelessness across the Okanagan and Kootenay region by assisting people with their housing needs, followed by connecting them to the additional supports and services such as those related to employment, physical and mental health, substance use, community connections, and life-skills. We consider it a privilege to serve our community through housing initiatives which include supportive housing, transitional housing, housing first, homelessness prevention, and shelter services.
